Cyanide and Focus Home Interactive have released a brand new gameplay trailer for their upcoming horror title Call of Cthulhu. Will you delve deep into madness and witness Edward Pierce slowly loose his mind?

Throughout the trailer we are subjected to Edward Pierces mind, as we witness him do his best to uncover clues towards the investigation, he is confronted by horrifying visions, cultists and things that are beyond human comprehension. The trailer explains that physically fighting enemies or these visions will be "futile", players will more so rely on other skills. Pierce will have to take a more diplomatic stealth approach, combining both his knowledge on the island and its residents with medicine and courage.

Players should note that the more that Edward Pierce learns about Darkwater island and its residents the more that he will be driven to insanity. This means that Pierces awareness of the situation will be a massive factor when it comes to his cognitive ability to make logical decisions to draw conclusions. The more that players are exposed to Darkwater island the less mental stability they will have, do think you have what it takes to drive full speed down the road to madness and meet it head on? Call of Cthulhu will be released on October 30th or better known as Halloween, visit the official Steam listing here.
