NVIDIA recently hosted its Gamer Connect event in Kolkata, capital of the Indian state of West Bengal, where they showcased all of their latest and greatest technology including the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, 21:9 displays, AAA games, VR, and more.
There were VR demos, 4K monitors alongside G-Sync tech, showcases of Ansel and GeForce Experience, as well as physical PC products like the GTX 1080 Ti, custom PC mods, and so much more.
The AAA games that were on display included Project CARS, Mass Effect: Andromeda, For Honor, and Ghost Recon Wildlands.
810 people attended the event, with NVIDIA quizzing 408 of the attendees with some interesting questions to see what they thought about Gamer Connect.
There were events hosted, with 420 gamers participating in 3v3 games of Overwatch and Rocket League, as well as 1v1 in For Honor. All of the mini tournaments were powered by the Alienware AW15 and Dell Inspiron 7000 notebooks.
The quizzes are an interesting thing to see during the event, with 408 gamers taking places through an app.
LG held their own showcase event within NVIDIA's Gamer Connect event, with Ultrawide, 4K, and 144Hz gaming monitors on show. LG had Project CARS on display with a triple curved monitor rig, with a bunch of gamers checking it out, and a 4K monitor with a GTX 1080 Ti running The Witcher 3 at 4K 60FPS.
ZOTAC had their latest and greatest GeForce GTX 1080 Ti AMP! Extreme Edition graphics card, which we reviewed here, as well as the GTX 1080 Mini, which we reviewed here, and their awesomely small Magnus GTX 1080 gaming PC.
ZOTAC had Watch Dogs 2 running on their GTX 1080 Mini graphics card, too.
VR is always a big focus for NVIDIA, with 2 x HTC Vive rigs, 3 x Oculus Rift setups, and over 215 demos in total at Gamer Connect.
