Robot Cache Announces Early Access To Begin October 2019 With A Founders' Club

Gamescom 2018 Begins the Sign-Up Period for Early Access - Those That Sign-Up Automatically Become Lifetime Founders' Club Members

(CANARY ISLANDS) August 17, 2018 - Robot Cache, the first decentralized PC video game distribution platform that benefits publishers, developers and gamers, has announced today as the first day that gamers can sign-up for Robot Cache's Early Access period. Interested gamers can sign-up online at www.robotcache.com. Early Access, which opens October 2018, will allow gamers to play, mine and sell digital PC games on Robot Cache, a world's first for videogame distribution.

All Early Access registrants will be inducted into the Robot Cache Founders' Club as lifetime members. The Founders' Club will provide members with unique rewards and special offers from Robot Cache, developers, and publishers along with a Founder badge to display on their profile. Membership to the free Founders' Club will only be available to gamers who sign-up from August 17th through the conclusion of the Early Access period, which will conclude when Robot Cache officially launches.

Additionally, at Gamescom 2018, attendees will have a rare opportunity to collect Robot Cache Founders' Club pins at the RocketBeans merchandise booth located at Hall 05.2 | Stand A015. Pins will come in two limited-edition colors and will carry with them codes for IRON tokens that can be redeemed on the Robot Cache platform at www.robotcache.com and used toward the purchase of a game when the site launches.

Utilizing blockchain technology, Robot Cache will reduce the fees publishers and developers pay by 80% and allow gamers to resell their digital PC video games. Developers and publishers benefit from the lowest transaction fees of any digital PC video game distribution platform. Everyone from the smallest indie team to the biggest publishers, will retain up to 95% of the sales proceeds, which is 25% higher than the current industry standard. In addition, Robot Cache's revolutionary digital resale market allows developers and publishers to set resale pricing and earn 70% of the resale proceeds.

Gamers greatly benefit from Robot Cache's unique distribution approach. Previously, gamers could only resell physical retail copies of a video game, but now they can resell digital games purchased on the Robot Cache platform using the blockchain and retain 25% of the proceeds from the resale. Selling their digital games earn them digital tokens, named IRON, Robot Cache's currency, which they can use toward the purchase of another game on the Robot Cache platform. In addition, gamers can opt-in within the Robot Cache client to mine IRON which they can then use to earn free games on the platform.
