We aren't far away from the Gears of War 5 technical test on the PC, with developer The Coalition releasing some early PC requirements for the game. You will need to have Windows 10 with the May 2019 update applied at a bare minimum, along with 6GB of RAM and 15GB of HDD space.
The Coalition will kick off the pre-download of the Gears of War 5 tech test starting July 17 at 10AM PDT, where it will take place between July 19 at 10AM PDT through to July 22 at 10AM PDT. There will be a second technical test for Gears of War 5 a few days later, with The Coalition settings dates of July 26-29 at 10AM PDT.
The developer notes: "During Test periods, our goal is to test our servers handling an influx of players ahead of launch day. Gears 5 has an access queue system in place to protect server stability as much as possible - please be aware you may encounter some queueing as you start to play. Between test periods, the Tech Test will remain available for download but servers will be offline".
