The finale episodes of Game of Thrones' season 8 are expected sometime in April this year, and as we move closer to the premier we have news from HBO's CEO regarding the episode length and quality.
Richard Plepler, the CEO of HBO told Variety that he has seen the final episodes for the eighth seasons and despite the CGI not being fully completed he was still left thinking "I'm watching a movie." He also said that both D.B. Weiss and David Benioff completely exceeded his expectations for the final two episodes in particular, here is what Plepler had to say "They've exceeded the bar. I've watched them twice without any CGI and I'm in awe. Everybody's in for an extraordinary treat of storytelling and of magical, magical production."
The final episodes for Game of Thrones is simply going to go down in TV history. These six episodes are what viewers have been waiting for, and when the final episodes are movie length and on the very brink of movie level quality the hype can be heard across the entire breathe of Westeros. HBO will be showcasing the final six episodes sometime throughout April of this year.
