Who knew that not building your own gaming PC in real life would be so much fun, with PC Building Simulator flying past 100,000 sales in the first month of it being released on Steam Early Access.

The Irregular Corporation boss Claudiu Kiss is behind the game, with a viral demo last year racking up the 3rd most downloaded free Itchi.io title in 2017. The full game was released last month, with lots of press covering it and gamers loving it as it has a great attention to detail, and is fun to play.

The Irregular Corporation producer Stuart Morton said: "The overwhelming support we have had from the PC gaming and building community has been nothing short of phenomenal and we are extremely grateful to all the players who have been so passionately providing feedback, this is the whole reason we wanted to launch into Early Access. There are plenty of new and exciting things to come for PC Building Simulator and we can't wait to share them with our ever-expanding community".

PC Building Simulator has huge support from tech companies including MSI, CORSAIR, COOLER MASTER, EVGA, NZXT, ARCTIC, SILVERSTONE, RAIJINTEK, TEAM GROUP LTD with true-to-life models of their hardware. There will be more partners joining the fray in the coming months, with UL Benchmarks (formerly Futuremark) providing a benchmark so that you can test your rig in PC Building Simulator. Awesome.
