With the release of Battlegrounds v1.0 right around the corner, NVIDIA is preparing GeForce owners with their new Game Ready 388.71 WHQL drivers that provide the "optimal gaming experience" for PUBG.
NVIDIA says they spent "hundreds of hours of work from over half a dozen teams across three continents" to get it done, and here we are. You'll only need a GeForce GTX 1060 to reach 70FPS average at 1080p, while at 2560x1440 you'll need the beefier GeForce GTX 1070 to hit 72FPS average. For those at 4K, the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti hits 60FPS or higher in PUBG with the new Game Ready 388.71 drivers.
If you want to run Battlegrounds on Ultra settings, you'll need the GTX 1070 for 1080p, GTX 1080 for 1440p, and an overclocked custom GTX 1080 Ti for 4K.
