E3 2017 - EA has blown the world away with some beautiful g ameplay footage of its upcoming Star Wars Battlefront 2, where on the PC it looks absolutely fantastic thanks to the small improvements that EA DICE has made to the already gorgeous and very capable Frostbite engine.

The folks at Digital Foundry got their hands-on the PC version of Battlefront 2 at 4K on Ultra settings, and it looks absolutely incredible. The lighting really takes things to the next level, while the materials have received a huge upgrade in detail - right down to small details on the ground, metal, and roads. The environments look great, with DICE delivering on the feel of the Star Wars world, with Digital Foundry adding that the lighting has been upgraded in a big way.

The blasters fire from your laser weapons can penetrate, and light up smoke - which is a huge win for Frostbite and Star Wars Battlefront 2 in the graphics and detail departments. It's looking like Battlefront 2 will be one of the best looking games of the year, when it launches on November 17.
