NVIDIA releases new GeForce drivers, 260.89 WHQL

Run an NVIDIA GeForce card? Want some free performance increases or added functionality for other NVIDIA services such as 3D Vision or SLI? Then you'll want to check out their new drivers...



The new NVIDIA drivers are WHQL signed, not beta - will support GeForce 6 series and above as well as the ION platformed GPU's. The suite also includes 3D vision software, GPU-integrated audio device driver (version 1.1.9.0), and PhysX system software (version 9.10.0514).

There's a bunch of bug fixes, performance increases and support for new GPU's (GT 430).

As for performance increases, they are exclusive to the GTX 460 and 480 GPU's.

Up to 10% in StarCraft II (2560x1600 4xAA/16xAF Ultra)
