Final Thoughts

The HIS HD 5770 we're looking at today doesn't really show us anything that we haven't seen before from the model. It' stock clocks mean performance is as you would expect. The cooling while being great, is also nothing new as we've seen a fair few companies attack the cooling of this particular model previously, including HIS for that matter.

What it does show us is just why we love this model so much; its performance is really great and the $160ish price tag is fantastic, making it a great valued product. Is the cooler HIS use on this model better than other HD 5770 coolers? Yes and no; compared to the stock ones it's quieter and keeps your GPU cooler. Compared to other companies' HD 5770 cooling solutions, it's as you would expect.

The good thing about the HIS card is that it doesn't carry the higher price tag that some other companies do when it comes to going down the aftermarket cooling path. While we're not seeing anything overly new from the card, as mentioned it does cement in the ground the reason we love the model so much.

If you're looking for a HD 5770, wanting to get something that moves away from the standard cooling and like the look of the card we have here today, it's a great little buy. It really is another great effort from HIS which is all we can ask for.
