InWin show off some awesome looking cases at PAX AU 2015

PAX Australia 2015 - One of our first stops at InWin, where we checked out a bunch of their cases that always impress. Stuart Tonks spent a huge amount of time on every build for InWin, but the end result is great.

If I had to have a favorite, it would definitely be the 909 case from InWin, which was powered by Bitspower, ASUS and Avexir - and it looks freakin' incredible.

Another impressive mod was the 805, with a gorgeous white and red theme.

We've seen it all - there are now SSD water blocks

With the rebirth of custom liquid cooling taking the PC DIY world by storm, we've seen companies such as Bitspower and EK Water Blocks lead the charge by releasing quality components time and time again for the latest motherboards, video cards and processors alike. But what about a water cooling solution for the modder who has it all?

In a recent press release, EK Water Blocks announced the release of its Intel 750 series PCIe SSD water block. Listed as full coverage, this block covers the entire PCB and has been "designed in cooperation with Intel".

Currently available for purchase, the EK-FC I750 has been quoted as the "first solid-state drive water block" and it's quite possibly not the last. Useful or not, that's up to you - but we're sure that it will make some kick-ass looking systems.

The exterior is full brushed aluminum and offers impressive fanless cooling up to 95W TDP for your CPU with room for a dual-slot PCIE card and an exterior touch sensitive power button.

Razer and NZXT show off the S340 PC case, in unique collaboration

Gaming hardware and peripheral company Razer has announced the NZXT S340, a collaboration following Razer's offer to work with case manufacturers in 2014.

The case features 360 degrees of steel casing surrounding the all-steel chassis, full 280mm front radiator support, compact form factor, integrated PSU should, fully filtered intakes, and 2x 120mm FN V2 fans on the top and rear of the case.

Razer included a front panel with a back-lit triple-headed snake logo, cable management bar with the Razer triple-headed snake logo, green power LED, green underglow LED with rear-located switch, PCI slot base cover, tinted window panel, and Razer signature green USB 3.0 ports.

In Win announces their new gaming chassis, the 805 Mid Tower

In Win has just announced their new 805 Mid Tower, which continues the "element of aluminum and tempered glass", with the new 805 Mid Tower also featuring a USB 3.1 Type-C port.

It has a very unique look with a 'skeleton structure' that is completely see through, allowing a huge 270-degree wide-angle look inside of the case. So for case modders and gamers who want to show off the insides of their gaming PCs, the new In Win 805 Mid Tower is going to be quite the unique chassis.

Better yet, it comes in a few different versions with a 'white LED light' in the gold and black editions, while the red LED will light up on the red version of the 805 Mid Tower. The inclusion of a USB 3.1 Type-C port allows owners of the In Win 805 Mid Tower to use 10Gbps speeds, transferring files to and from their external drives at over 1GB/sec.

Lian Li and ASUS ROG team up with the Mini-ITX PC-Q17 chassis

Co-branded with ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG), the Lian Li PC-Q17 is a mini-ITX chassis designed to neatly house the ASUS ROG Maximus impact line of miniature motherboards.

Complete with a sloped brushed aluminum front panel and large acrylic window in order to show off the tech within, this case is interestingly trapezoid in shape when viewed from the side. Further exterior features include a large LED ROG logo sitting on the storage cage, helping tie together a nice looking product.

Complete with 2-slot expansion support and clearance for video cards up to 27cm in length, there is further support for CPU coolers up to 14cm in height, power supplies up to 15cm in length and support for a 240mm x 120mm radiator up top (see image below). Last up are two front panel USB 3.0 ports and a weigh in at 2.7kg.

With 30 watts of total output across six individually controlled channels, this product enables users to control the speeds of each fan individually or diagnose faults and issues through included "smart notifications."

Available now for $29.99, this device can be mounted on the interior of your chassis, removing any 5.25" bay issues as seen with competing products. Further included in the package is support for both 3 and 4-pin PWM fans alongside two fan extension cables.

Crono Labs is working on a monitor-mounted PC case

Many people use their monitor VESA mount in order to attach it to an arm, but what about screwing in a case instead? Marketed as an easily manageable and upgradable all-in-one type solution, even a case carry handle is included in order to help you transport your whole system around the office, to LAN parties or to a friends place.

Crono Labs is working on a monitor-mounted PC case

Set to be released on Indiegogo soon as a finance campaign, we have been contacted by Crono Labs with some pre-release renders of exactly what the final product should look like.

The Crono Labs C1 case doesn't have much public information available just yet, but it looks like a Mini-ITX sized chassis and we know that it comes complete with the IO ports pointing towards your desk in order to increase cable management from your monitor to the components. Crono Labs further stated that you should expect around 80% less dust in your system too, this is due to the case being raised off the ground.

ID-COOLING has released this $139.99 HUNTER DUET cooler to the market, equipped with a 240mm radiator which features two SF-12025 high static pressure fans for airflow. The fans are PWM controlled and range from 800 to 2000RPM, featuring a maximum airflow capability of 84.5CFM per spinner. Sound is also minimized through four rubber corner mounts, dampening vibration.

The pump comes complete with LEDs and a speed of 2500RPM, with the bearings being ceramic. Rubber tubes connect everything together, featuring a CPU water block to GPU water block length of 250mm, a GPU to radiator of 380mm and a radiator to CPU length of 250mm.
