Palit has gone all out with their new own-design Radeon HD 4870 Sonic Dual Edition graphics card - The "Dual" in its naming reflects on its unrivaled feature-set such as dual BIOS' and dual fan cooling.

The card sports a "Smart Switch" whereby pressing it on the back of the card and rebooting the PC instantly turbocharges it with a core clockspeed of 775MHz and memory at a whopping 4GHz, up from its usual frequencies of 750MHz core and 3.8GHz memory.

Furthermore, the card sports a 4-phase power supply which is said to help decrease temperatures and provide better reliability, not to mention the superiority of the rather eye-catching full copper based cooler with three-pipes keeping things quiet and extra cool.

The icing on the cake comes in the form of the card's future-proof connectivity options; as well as dual DVI and HDMI, there is also the inclusion of DisplayPort.

All in all; looks to be a hell of a weapon. I bet some of you are just itchin' to get your hands on two of 'em for some Crossfire lovin'.

You can get the full rundown on the card within the official announcement here folks.
