Temperature Tests

The temperature of the core is pulled from MSI Afterburner with the max reading used after a completed run off 3DMark Vantage and the Performance preset.

We knew that big cooler would work well; we didn't think it would work this well, though. A cool 55c on this beast is very impressive and while we don't have the Sapphire HD 5870 and GIGABYTE GTX 480 in these results because of the testbed changes, on our previous temperature graphs the HD 5870 came in at over 60c and the GTX 480 over 70c.
