MSI Announces Classic Series CR630 Notebook

MSI announced the slender and stylish CR630 features a large screen and high performance multimedia. The CR630 comes with MSI's own 45-degree beveled construction and new lustrous starlight design color film print which changes with shifts in lighting, underscoring the stylish yet unpretentious exterior for which MSI's Classic series is known.

MSI Marketing Director Sam Chern points out, The 15.6" CR630 features chic starlight design color film print and powerful multimedia performance. Under the hood, it has AMD's latest Danube platform for NBs with the AMD Athlon II processor and ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4270 integrate graphics for high performance, low power consumption, and exceptional graphics processing capabilities."

AMD Danube platform: The CR630 comes with AMD's latest Danube platform with AMD Athlon II processor and ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4270 integrate graphics which supports the newest UVD2 hardware decoder, accerating high definition video and decoding performance as well as enhancing 3D graphics by 20%. In addition, this machine's power-sipping qualities extend battery life.

Cinema-class 16:9 ratio high definition LED backlit display: The 15.6" large screen CR630 not only packs a powerful image processing core, it boasts a cinema-class 16:9 HD LED display-the ideal ratio for viewing films. That means no more of those annoying black strips at the top and bottom of the screen when viewing DVDs.

Starlight design color film print technology: The top of the CR630's cover and the area in front of the keyboard feature a unique starlight design color film print and rhombic pattern in the area above the keyboard to enhance the classy texture.

Smooth lines, chic exterior: The 45-degree beveled edges of the stylishly classic CR630 give the lines that include the DVD player, I/O slot, and heat dissipation vents on the sides a clean, smooth aerodynamic flow. The battery fits seamlessly into the bottom, adding to the minimalist flow of the profile. What's more, it is four-fifths the thickness of other 15.6" laptops and tips the scales at less than 2.5kg.

eSATA high speed ports: The CR630 comes equipped with a full network and I/O interface ensemble, including 802.11 b/g/n high speed wireless and the latest V2.1+EDR Bluetooth module, enabling you to connect with anyone anywhere in the world anytime, using high speed network transmission. Furthermore, the CR630 comes with an internal eSATA port which transfers data at 3Gb/s-six times faster than the conventional USB2.0.

1.3 million pixel webcam: Not only is the CR630 a lean, mean, pristine machine, it also comes equipped with a 1.3 million pixel webcam supported by MSI's own Webcam Companion and Visual Effect 2 applications, so you can record the details of your life no matter where you are with ease and share them with friends and family anywhere in the world.
