Xiaomi has announced that the company sold 1 million Redmi Note 4 devices in 45 days in India, the fastest for any device sold in that country, or one device every four seconds.

The Redmi Note 4 was launched in January. The phone has a 5.5-inch 1080p IPS LCD, and the design is completed with 2.5D curved glass. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 625 and comes in three variants: 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, and 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
The phone packs a 4,100 mAh battery. The main camera is 13MP while the selfie cam is 5MP. The phone runs on MIUI 8 with Android Marshmallow, and the Nougat update is currently in beta testing. Other features include fingerprint sensor and microSD card slot.
The device had a strong response since launch. In the first flash sale, Xiaomi sold 250,000 Redmi Note 4 units in just ten minutes.
