AMD's 45nm Deneb CPU offerings will be unveiled during CES 2009, according to this report from Fudzilla.
It is claimed that early January has been hallmarked for the launch pad, followed by imminent availability.
Information suggests that whilst unable to surpass the power of Intel's Core i7 flavours, the overclocking potential of Deneb will be impressive and may end up at frequencies higher than 2.7 GHz.
The Sunnyvale, CA based company will, undoubtedly, be touting the price to performance ratio of its 45nm line-up and using competitive pricing to pile pressure on rival, Intel.
