First look at ASRock's AM3 based M3A790GXH/128M

ASRock has kindly allowed us an exclusive sneak peek at its upcoming M3A790GXH/128M motherboard which uses the new AM3 socket with Hyper-Transport 3.0 and carries DDR3 memory support!

Using the AMD 790GX + SB750 chipsets, the board is backward compatible with existing AM2+/AM2 processors and makes use of DDR3 1333/1066/800 memory across four DIMM slots with up to 16GB max capacity.

The integrated Radeon HD 3300 graphics on this particular board allows for three video output options; these include D-Sub, DVI-D and HDMI. Other notable features include AMD OverDrive support with ACC (Advanced Clock Calibration), Hybrid/3-way-CrossfireX support, six SATA-II ports which come with a broad range of RAID options, 7.1 channel HD audio (ALC890), eSATA and FireWire.

 

ASRock also give their own unique touches to this board including Instant Boot, Smart BIOS, ASRock OC Tuner and Intelligent Energy Saver.
