Alogic has unveiled a new line of monitors designed specifically for creatives, and some come with touchscreen capabilities.

An Australian computing manufacturer unveiled a new selection of monitors at InfoComm 2024, and some of the most attractive products are a combination of touchscreen capabilities and portability. For example, Alogic showcased the Clarity Xtend/Xpand, a 4K portable monitor that can fit in your bag. More specifically, this portable monitor comes with 2x USB-C ports (one for power, another for the connection to a PC), 1x mini HDMI, 1x HDMI 2.1, 1x DisplayPort 1.4, 1x USB-A, and 1x 3.5mm headphone jack.

Additionally, the Clarity Xtend/Xpand comes with 10-point multitouch capabilities and a resolution of 3840 x 2160 at a 60Hz refresh rate. Another product unveiled by Alogic was the Slate 28-inch Double Vertical QHD monitor, which features a resolution of 2560 x 2880, which makes it essentially two 1080p displays stacked on top of each other. Additionally, the Slate comes with a USB-C port that supports 90W laptop charging, 2x HDMI 2.1, 2x DisplayPort 1.4, 2x USB-A, and 1x RJ45 Ethernet. There are no touchscreen capabilities on the Slate.

Alogic, an Australian computing manufacturer, has unveiled a selection of new monitors that are set to hit shelves later this year.

At the InfoComm 2024 in Las Vegas, Alogic unveiled its new line-up of monitors that most of which come with touch capabilities. Starting off, we have the Clarity 5K Touch, a 27-inch, 60Hz, 5120 x 2880 resolution monitor that's focus is on color accuracy, a USB-C port capable of 65W power delivery, 2x HDMI 2.1 ports, 2x DisplayPort 1.4, 2x USB-A, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Additionally, the Clarity 5K Touch has 10 point multitouch and is an IPS panel that has QD backlight.

Next is the display I'm definitely the most interested in, and that's the Horizon 34 ultrawide monitor, which also comes with touch capabilities. These specifications caught my eye, and are as follows; 3440 x 1440 resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, IPS panel monitor that's focus is also color accuracy. As for connectivity, the Horizon features 1x HDMI 2.1, 1x DisplayPort 1.4, 1x USB-A, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Corsair has announced its latest addition to its gaming monitor line-up at Computex 2024, and this time around the company has unveiled a 34-inch ultra wide QD-OLED display with a blistering 240Hz refresh rate.

Computex 2024 was inundated with artificial intelligence-related products, but amongst the new AI products coming to market, there were a few new gaming monitor announcements that may have slipped past many people's radars. One of those gaming monitors is Corsair's 34WQHD240-C, which was on display at the company's suite in Taipei, and I was lucky enough to get it demoed. The 34WQHD240-C uses Quantum Dot OLED technology, or a QD-OLED panel, which has become commonplace for new gaming monitors coming to market.

However, Corsair has specifically tuned the 34WQHD240-C with its own specifications, writing in its announcements the 34WQHD240-C will come with a glossy coating that will reduce glare when bright light sources are in the background. Additionally, the 34WQHD240-C will have a native resolution of 3440 x 1440 across 34 inches, making its pixel density 110 PPI, or pixels per inch. Furthermore, the 34WQHD240-C has a refresh rate of 240Hz and comes with NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium support.

At Computex 2024, we got to go hands-on with GIGABYTE products, including its latest display range. GIGABYTE has many vibrant OLED displays available now and on the horizon, including a setup that lets you daisy chain multiple monitors over a single DisplayPort 2.1 connection.

GIGABYTE told us that the AORUS F032U2P, a 4K 240 Hz OLED display, is the world's first DisplayPort 2.1 UHBR20 display with an industry-leading 80Gbps bandwidth. This allows you to daisy-chain up to four displays, each with a 4K 120 Hz refresh rate over a single DisplayPort 2.1 cable. Impressive stuff, though it feels like this would work best with a next-gen GeForce RTX 5080 or 5090.

With the shift to OLED for its premium displays, the company announced that its AORUS brand for enthusiast gamers would shift to OLED panel technology for all its displays going forward.

OLED gaming monitors are making their way into the display market, and now ASRock has joined the fray under its Phantom Gaming brand.

ASRock was kind enough to give me a tour of their booth at Computex 2024 where they had on display two OLED gaming monitors that caught my attention. The PG032UFS2B and the PG027QFS, a 32-inch model and a 27-inch model. Firstly, the PG032UFS2B caught my attention for its dual-mode, which enables users to switch between 3840 x 2160 (UHD) at 2240Hz refresh rate and 1920 x 1080 (FHD) at 480Hz with a simple button press.

This feature is particularly good for users that want more frames in competitive titles such as Valorant and Overwatch 2, while also wanting the visual fidelity for other titles that don't require a lot of frames, such as Red Dead Redemption 2, Elden Ring and others. As for the other specifications, the PG032UFS2B gas a 0.03 ms response time, a typical brightness of 275 nits, 2x HDMI 2.1, 2x DisplayPort 1.4, 3x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, 1x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-B, and 1x USB-C Type-C with 65w of power delivery.

The ASUS booth at Computex 2024 was littered with incredible pieces of technology in various forms and one of things that caught my eye was the ZenScreen Fold OLED.

ASUS originally announced the ZenScreen Fold OLED MQ17QH at CES 2024 where it was the winner of the coveted CES 2024 Innovation Award. The portable monitor was on display at Computex 2024 where I was lucky enough to briefly go hands-on with it, and I can tell you that its certainly more impressive in-person than I expected. Firstly, the ZenScreen Fold OLED is a 17.3-inch device with a 2560 x 1920 resolution. When folded the ZenScreen Fold OLED reduces down to 12.5-inches.

As for color, the ZenScreen Fold OLED covers 100% of the3 DCI-P3 color space and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 for vibrant color. One of the most interesting aspects of the ZenScreen Fold OLED is the hinge, which ASUS describes as a "waterdrop shape". More on the physical aspects of the ZenScreen Fold OLED is the weight and thickness, which comes in at just 1.17 kg and 9.7mm thick, respectively.

ASUS has been dominating the gaming monitor space for quite some time, and now it's officially showcased what many competitive gamers would consider the cream of the crop when it comes to gaming monitors.

Introducing, the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDP, a 26.5-inch 2560 x 1440p (QHD) OLED gaming monitor that comes with a blistering fast 480Hz refresh rate. ASUS has said the 480Hz refresh rate makes the PG27AQDP a world's first in its specific specification. Additionally, the PG27AQDP has a 0.03ms response time thanks to its OLED pixel technology, and will come with the latest Micro Lens Array (MLA) technology that enables 30% higher peak brightness and 20% wider viewing angles over previous ROG OLED monitors.

As for connectivity, we expect the PG27AQDP to feature "extensive" options that will include DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.1. Notably, the PG27AQDP uses a third-generation WOLED panel from LG that will be cooled with a custom fan-less heatsink. Furthermore, ASUS says the PG27AQDP will come with DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro compliance, and ELMB support. As you can probably imagine, ASUS is aiming the PG27AQDP directly at eSports gamers that want as many frames per second as they can possibly get.

ASUS has showcased yet another world's first gaming monitor at Computex 2024, and the monitor that has achieved "world's first" status is a 4K display with a 240Hz refresh rate.

ASUS was kind enough to give me a demo of the new gaming monitor on the showroom floor at Computex 2024, explaining how the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDP is a first in its category of OLED gaming monitors. The PG32UCDP is a 32-inch 4K (3840 x 2160) gaming monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate, 0.03ms response time, and a dual mode that enables users to switch between 4K 240Hz and 1080p at 480Hz. The dual mode is the feature that earns the PG32UCDP its "world's first" categorization.

The company stated the PG32UCDP is the "world's first dual-mode gaming monitor", and the feature enabling users to switch between 4K 240Hz and 1080p at 480Hz will give users the option of choosing between high fidelity gaming, or a high refresh rate. This feature will be particularly useful for gamers that flex between titles with incredible graphics and competitive titles such as Valorant, League of Legends, and Overwatch 2.

ASUS has kicked off Computex 2024 with several big announcements and one of them was the ROG Strix XG27UCG

The company behind some of the best gaming monitors on the market gave me a tour of their booth at Computex, where I was demoed the new ROG Strix XG27UCG. ASUS ROG claims to have achieved a world's first with the XG27UCG as it has the following specifications: 27-inches, 4K resolution, Fast IPS and 160Hz refresh rate. While that may seem quite standard for a high-end gaming monitor from ASUS there is one feature that differentiates the XG27UCG and that feature is called dual mode.

ASUS explained to me the ROG Strix XG27UCG is the world's first dual-mode LCD monitor to support Frame Rate Boost, which enables users switch between 4K at 160Hz to 1920 x 1080 at 320Hz. Notably, the dual-mode means ASUS has natively built in support for the aforementioned resolutions and refresh rates. Other specifications are as follows: 1x USB-C port with DP Alt Mode and 15W of power delivery, 1x DisplayPort 1.4, 1x HDMI 2.1, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a 1ms response time (GtG).

Computex 2024 is well underway and MSI has showcased at its booth the next 27-inch OLED gaming monitor that comes with a slightly lower refresh rate compared to its predecessor.

Back in April MSI's list of upcoming OLED gaming monitors leaked online, revealing the incoming MAG 271QPX E2, which has now been confirmed as MSI had the monitor in the flesh at its booth. The new monitor measures 26.5-inches, has a 2560 x 1440 (WQHD) resolution, a 240Hz refresh rate, and a 0.03ms response time. It appears the difference between the MAG 271QPX and the MAG 271QPX E2 is the refresh rate, as the 271QPX has a blistering fast 360Hz refresh rate, while the E2 has a 240Hz.

The MAG 271QPX E2 sports Samsung's third-generation QD-OLED panel, which offers gorgeous, vibrant colors that are paired perfectly with the extremely deep blacks. As with all of MSI's OLED gaming monitors they arrive with a three-year warranty and a slew of features to mitigate against burn-in. The MAG 271QPX E2 has the same OLED Care 2.0 technology seen on other MSI OLED gaming monitors. As for connectivity, the MAG 271QPX E2 features two HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4 port, a USB-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
