Astronomers originally believed that the asteroid Apophis had a chance of colliding with Earth in 2029 and now they are less concerned.

A recent exercise by NASA's Planetary Defense Coordination Office and the International Asteroid Warning Network is now complete.

Some astronomers are excited about an asteroid with an irregular shape making a close approach to Earth in the coming years.

End of the world will not be happening in 2029 or 2036 according to NASA.
