Toshiba OCZ RC100 240GB & 480GB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD Review

TweakTown Rating: 96%Manufacturer: Toshiba

Toshiba OCZ RC100 PCIe NVMe SSD

The front of the packaging features an image of the enclosed SSD. The drive's capacity, form factor and BiCS flash are advertised here.

The back of the packaging advertises the OCZ RC100's limited 3-year warranty.

Included with the drive is a printed quick start guide. The guide recommends using Toshiba's NVMe driver, but that is a misprint because at this point there is no Toshiba NVMe driver that supports HMB.

The drive's single package is covered by a manufacturer label.

Here is a close-in view of the single BGA SSD package.

The back of the PCB has no components, making the OCZ RC100 a single-sided design. There is a manufacturer label that lists the particulars of the drive.
