The Maximus X Apex is lit with RGB LEDs, and to be honest with you, I dig them a lot. Forget how awesome that nameplate idea is, I love motherboards that have their entire underside lit up. Although some overclockers might snarl at the LEDs, they cannot deny that LN2 vapors flowing over the lighting looks super cool (pun intended).

The motherboard also has four RGB LED headers, that's a lot.
