GALAX GeForce GTX 1080 Ti HOF: Performance King with LCD

Cooling Tech

GALAX has made one of the beefiest graphics cards I've seen, with the GTX 1080 Ti HOF rocking a massive 'TriMax Cooler' with triple 90mm fans keeping the entire card cool.

Better yet, there's even a button on the back of the card that lets you manually turn the fans up to 100%, keeping the card cool during those benchmark or gaming sessions.

GALAX has used five enhanced heat pipes through the GTX 1080 Ti HOF, with a beautiful "signature choco-white" PCB.

There's something that GALAX calls their "super enthusiast PureOC 12 layer PCB" layout, something built for overclockers - and includes the 16+3 phase digital power supply that will "cope with extreme overclocking." Backing that up is the "G Anti-noise inductance Ultra Low ESR, Ultra-low noise operation."

Power Delivery

GALAX and their new GeForce GTX 1080 Ti HOF, like MSI's just-released and just-reviewed GeForce GTX 1080 Ti LIGHTNING Z, has ramped up the power delivery and PCIe power connector game.

GALAX's new GeForce GTX 1080 Ti HOF requires 3 x 8-pin PCIe power connectors.

This means the GTX 1080 Ti HOF is ready for massive overclocking, as GALAX teases that the GTX 1080 Ti HOF makes it easier to "deliver OC potential to the very edge of its limit."
