We have compared Gigabyte's K8T890 board against an nVidia nForce 4 SLI motherboard from Gigabyte. This should help give us an indication about how VIA's newest Athlon 64 chipset performs against nVidia's newest. Of course, we only used a single graphics cards on the nForce 4 SLI based test motherboard.

Due to the on-CPU memory controller of the K8, board to board comparisons of memory controllers should be identical which in this case are almost to the letter.
