Gigabyte GeForce 7800 GTX - Our first retail offering

High Quality AA and AF

All tests were run with 4 times FSAA and 8 times Antistrophic Filtering enabled with the screen resolution set to 1600 x 1200.

Normally we'd test these settings at 1024 x 768 but the GeForce 7800 GTX is no ordinary GPU and will give us an idea how it handles things when settings are turned up.

We can see when we even begin to turn up the AA and AF we see no real difference in performance between the two sets of cards with the single cards showing only 4 points a difference.

Half Life 2 is right on par again with its results and we can see that the difference is nothing.

While we think that we have got the cards sorted out on our final test they all of a sudden decide to perform a little bit better then the reference cards and make us think did we do something wrong? Well the answer is no but for some reason with the AA and AF on in Doom 3 our Gigabyte cards did get a little boost in speed.

How much does it cost me?
