PCMark04 is a multipurpose benchmark, suited for benchmarking all kinds of PCs, from laptops to workstations, as well as across multiple Windows operating systems. This easy-to-use benchmark makes professional strength benchmarking software available even to novice users. PCMark04 consists of a series of tests that represent common tasks in home and office programs.

Comparing these results to those of our top-of-the-line AMD Athlon FX-51 system, we were aghast. Only barely shy of the AMD FX-51 in both Integer and Float, the ASUS K8V Deluxe truly boasts its brawn in this popular benchmarking suite.

In this benchmark, we see a similar performance differentiation from that of Turbo 1 and Turbo 2 modes.

SiSoft Sandra 2004

SiSoft Sandra (System ANalyser, Diagnostic and Reporting Assistant) 2004 is a synthetic Windows benchmark that features different tests used to evaluate different PC subsystems.

Trumping its closest competitors, the MSI K8T Neo and ABIT KV8-MAX3, the ASUS K8V Deluxe only slightly falls short of Gigabyte's K8VNXP as shown in some of our previous reviews.
