Â
CrystalDiskMark is a disk benchmark software that allows us to benchmark 4K and 4K queue depths with accuracy.
Â
Key Features:-
Â
* Sequential reads/writes
* Random 4KB/512KB reads/writes
* Text copy
* Change dialog design
* internationalization (i18n)
Â
Note: Crystal Disk Mark 3.0 Technical Preview was used for these tests since it offers the ability to measure native command queuing at 4 and 32.
Â

Â
In CDM we get our first look at incompressible data performance. The Agility 4 has a slight drop off of performance when working with incompressible data, something we'll see when looking at the Anvil Benchmark data further down in this review.
Â
For now let's focus on 4K and NCQ performance. The Agility 4 achieves a 22MB/s read 4K QD1 speed, but ramps up in a linier fashion to QD4, nearly 80MB/s. At 32 depth we hit just over 266MB/s. These are solid performance numbers especially from a drive using asynchronous flash.
Â

Â
Write performance in everything other than the sequential and 512kb test nearly mirrors what we achieved on the Vertex 4.
