Real-World Direct3D Benchmarks
Max Payne is a new generation DirectX 7/8 game. This game is based on Hardware T&L advancements as well as many other features of the Intel Pentium 4 and Athlon XP.
Max Payne is still a great game to play and is rather heavy on the DX8 engine. This makes it a great Benchmark for testing out CPU's, 3D and memory performance. FIC falls behind the rest but is not a far behind as in the OpenGL applications.
Aquanox is the latest installment of our benchmark software. This game is based heavily on DirectX 8 and 8.1 advancements and is designed to stress video cards to their ultimate limit, in all the best D3D benchmark to date.
Aquanox is the most stressful game I have seen in the 3D realm. It's great for testing stability and 3D performance, FIC passed the stability parts with flying colors.
DroneZmark is based on the popular DroneZ game engine. DroneZmark incorporates a looping demo and execution engine to test your system performance.
In the last of the tests, FIC once again trails the competition.
