Final Thoughts

The PNY Verto 9600GT isn't exactly a stand-out card when it comes to performance or the bundle. It really is just a standard 9600GT with a slightly different cooler that runs extremely well. There isn't a whole lot to the formula that PNY uses, but what it does is give us a card with three year warranty for an excellent price.

There is no denying that this kind of card isn't for everyone, but if you're looking for something that is cheap and reliable then the 9600GT from PNY is a good option. The biggest gripe with the card is that as far as we can tell, in the US you can get a version for a few dollars more that comes with a copy of Frontlines: Fuel the War; a new game that has only been released recently.

9600GT stock performance is good and there really is nothing stopping you from overclocking yourself. So if you're after a cheap 9600GT with HDMI convertors and full version games not being a requisite, the PNY is an attractive purchase. If you're looking for something a little faster out of the box and wanting to spend a little bit more money, you might be more interested in something like the Palit 9600 GT Sonic.

This card from PNY however is a great option for people who want to SLI on the cheap. Adding two of these together really does yield a good performance increase that will keep most gamers happy for a while to come.
