Final Thoughts

Passive cards have always been popular but it was something that was always limited to lower end cards. With the smaller design on cores these days we find that we're able to get passive cooled solutions on higher end offerings.

ECS have also gone that little bit further by offering some little fans in the package in the event that you want to cool your card down a little more. The whole design of the card is great but it's clear that you're not going to be running two of these cards in SLI due to the way the heatsink hovers way over the top of the card.

It's nice to see that ECS have decided to mix it up a bit with their graphics cards, for far too long they haven't really been a company that has stood out for enthusiasts. This particular model puts them in a different light and lets them stand out from the competition a bit.

If you're looking for a high-end graphics card that can play your latest games at a decent resolution, but you don't want the noise that quite often comes with high-end models then this really could be the card for you.
