Insomnia Gaming Festival Coming to Ireland

26th February 2019, London - Player1 Events* today announces an exciting new partnership to further drive the Insomnia brand to new territories around the world.

Following on from the team's hugely successful international event in Cairo last year, Insomnia is now coming to the Republic of Ireland this November as part of a multi-year agreement with Irish events company, Omega Events Ltd.

Established over 20 years ago, Insomnia now attracts more than 70,000 consumers for each UK event. The first International Insomnia event took place in Cairo in October 2018 and each International Insomnia event will mirror the UK's proven formula covering all types of gaming from casual Battle Royale titles, to competitive esports events and popular zones such as Retro Gaming, Cosplay, Indie Zones and stage content.

These new partnerships are multi-year agreements that will see the events team at GAME work with other major event companies around the world to take the UK's longest running gaming and esports event to new territories and new audiences.

2019 is a huge year for Insomnia Gaming Festival as it returns to Cairo for the second year with BME Events (31st Oct -2nd Nov). Alongside this, the team will also run their first show in Dubai, partnering with the Global Event Management Group (10th Oct - 12th Oct). In addition to these events Player1 Events are discussing official Insomnia events in several new and exciting International locations for 2020 and beyond.
