Com2us Reveals Summoners War Short Animated Film, A Collaboration With Skybound Entertainment

Seoul, South Korea (February 12, 2019) - In collaboration with Skybound Entertainment, known for The Long Dark and The Walking Dead TV Series, Com2uS has revealed a 6-minute short animation film 'Friends & Rivals' via its YouTube channel -

Com2uS and Skybound Entertainment produced the 6 minute 3D animated film, 'Friends & Rivals' based on the Summoners War's story and world view. The world view and story used are shared in 'Summoners War' and 'Summoners War MMORPG' and highlights the characters and world of Summoners War.

The film is produced by co-executive producers Catherine Winder, CEO of Skybound North and creator of "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" and "The Angry Birds Movie" and Robert Kirkman, the founder of Skybound and creator of the "Walking Dead" series.

Paul Ferminger, the visual effect editor of the Hollywood SF movie "I, Robot", "Elektra" and "Night at the Museum" and TV series "Mortal Kombat: Legacy" also took part as a director. Paul Ferminger and John Zuur Platten, the writers of the console game "Jurassic World Evolution" and "Apache Air Assault" wrote the overall script.

The film features two summoners characters - Durand and Morgana - alongside the Baniyan tribe, which appears in 'Summoners War MMORPG' for the first time. It shows the summoners summoning their monsters and fighting in order to reclaim the magical jewel on a Sky Island that's about to collapse. During an ensuing battle, the summoners build a friendship.

Players can stream the film on the official Com2uS YouTube channel and also in "Summoners War".

To celebrate this milestone for Summoners War there is an in-game event in which players can earn various rewards by fighting against rivals, Morgana in Arena and use Durand's representative monster in battles.
