After an extended break, Kingmax are making another big splash in the memory market as they strive to make their way back up to the top tier enthusiast class segment.

It's been mentioned this week that they are planning something quite unique to stand out from the pack with an upcoming dual channel kit for LGA-1156 systems.

With a fresh new brand identity up its sleeves, well out in the open actually, the Taiwanese memory company has just announced a brand new 8GB memory kit based around its XPG Gaming Series brand of high performance RAM.

You would usually except the likes of OCZ, GSkill or Corsair to come out with the fastest certified memory on the planet, but this time it is Kingston who beats the other guys to the punch with its latest HyperX DDR3 memory kit.

CES 2010 - On the 2nd day of the actual show we got a chance to talk to Kingston. They had a few interesting items up on display. One of the first we saw was a few possible new color choices for your RAM. These included pink and even purple. But there was more than just color options being shown off at the Kingston Suite.

CES 2010 - While many know CES as a time when the big companies launch all of their new hardware and projects for the year there are quite a few other companies there. These are the little and not so little guys that are pushing their products on the market in an attempt to get some press time.

While at CES Unveiled we got the chance to walk around and talk to a few companies that you might not have ever heard of, but that had some impressive products nonetheless. One of the first ones that we saw was a company called ZOMM ( which stands for Zachry, Olivia and Madison's Mom). The device they were pushing was also called ZOMM and was pretty impressive. When I first saw it I thought it was nothing more than a new form of Life Alert. However after a quick talk I found that I was way off the mark. ZOMM is a wireless leash, speaker phone, caller id and much more for your Bluetooth enabled cellphone. ZOMM was created by Laurie Penix, as a way to help people keep track of their Cell Phones. But the idea did not stop there.
