Foxconn have made a big splash into the world of enthusiast oriented motherboards thanks to world reknowned overclocker Shamino holding onto the reigns of their Quantum Force program. We saw a taste of what they were capable of producing in the Foxconn Mars P35 motherboard; this proved to be the base for a very stable and highly overclockable platform.

Now in the works by the Quantum Force team is the Foxconn BlackOps X48, which as the name implies is to be based on Intel's upcoming flagship X48 chipset. Early revisions of the board are floating around out there, with Nordic Hardware spotting some very impressive test results posted up by Team Japan and also SF3D over at the XtremeSystems forum to give us an idea of its capabilities.
