Coronavirus vaccines are closer than ever, and now the nation's leading infectious disease expert has answered the question about which coronavirus vaccine he will get.
The nation's leading infectious disease expert and director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Dr. Anthony Fauci, recently appeared on the TODAY Show. During the interview, the infectious disease expert was asked when he would be getting a coronavirus vaccine, as many people would feel more comfortable once they see him do it.
Dr. Fauci replied by saying, "I'm ready to go" and get a vaccine, but the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases has yet to receive their shipment of vaccines. Dr. Fauci then said that he hopes "it's coming in the next couple of days", and if it does, he said he would "get vaccinated as soon as I can".
