A public alert has been made ahead of the Thanksgiving celebrations for a meal that most Americans would usually be enjoying on the day.
The alert comes from the US Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS), and it's for a 32 oz. cartons of Wegmans Beef Culinary Stock (No salt added). The FSIS isn't fully recalling the product as it's unknown whether or not it can be harmful, but the agency is recommending that if you own the product to either throw it away or return it back to the store, you purchased it from.
The reason for the mild-recall is that the product was never presented to inspectors when it came to the US. The problem with the product was found "when the purchaser determined that it was delivered without FSIS import re-inspection." The FSIS says that if anyone has already consumed this product and they feel sick to contact a health professional. For more information on this story, check out this link here.
