Dr. Fauci says when you won't have to wear face masks anymore
Dr. Anthony Fauci, the nation's leading infectious disease expert, has said when Americans won't have to wear face masks anymore.
Face mask-wearing has become ingrained into normal societal behaviors, but when can everyone give up the mask?
In a recent update from the nation's leading infectious disease expert, Dr. Anthony Fauci, face mask-wearing will still be around for quite some time. In his most recent update, Dr. Fauci said that face mask-wearing will continue "well into the third or fourth quarter of 2021", and that is even if a "really good vaccine" is developed.
The infectious disease expert goes on to say that the approach to returning back to normal life will be a slow one, and that public-health measures that have been implemented into society (face mask use, social distancing) we feel like they are beginning to fade out sometime closer to the end of 2021, at least.
