Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has said that he and his family won't be receiving the first round of coronavirus vaccines.
Musk revealed the information on a podcast hosted by The New York Times' Kara Swisher, where Musk was asked if he and his family would be first-round adopters of the coming COVID-19 vaccine when one finally becomes available. Musk replied by saying that he is "not at risk for COVID, nor are my kids." However, Musk and his children aren't any less susceptible to COVID-19 than any other normal person.
This also isn't the first time Musk has come out against coronavirus recommendations, as the Tesla and SpaceX CEO has previously opposed the idea of lockdowns. Additionally, Swisher did bring up to Musk his ideas surrounding lockdowns, to which he reiterated and said that he opposed the lockdowns because they did not "serve the greater good".
