NVIDIA's Amazing Human Head Demo!

Following the recent launch of NVIDIA's 8800 Ultra graphics card, a very impressive little video has been discovered by the lads at TECHEblog. It's purpose is to show off the awesome real-time shader and lighting effects that the 8800 Ultra is capable of producing.

The shadows are produced over a rendered face, that face being none other than actor "Doug Jones" who starred in such movies as "Pan's Labyrinth", "Hellboy" and alo the upcoming movie " Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer".

Though it'll be quite a long time before we start to experience full cinematic rendering in our games, it's nice to see stuff like this and get a taste for what the future holds.
