Yes, that is correct, there is currently a coronavirus mask worth $1.5 million. The mask is currently being worked on by Israeli jeweler YVEL, and it's comprised of white gold, while also featuring an 18-carat diamond-encrusted face-covering. On top of that, the mask is decorated with 3,600 white and black diamonds.
The mask isn't all looks, under the hood, there are two top-rated N99 filters at the buyer's request. According to Mr. Levy, the owner of the YVEL company, the buyer requested the mask be made with two conditions; the first is that it had to be completed by the end of the year, and the second was the to be the most expensive mask in the world. Levy says the last condition "was easiest to fulfill".
In an interview, Levy declined to identify who purchased this mask. All he said was that the person was a Chinese businessman living in the United States.
