ECS P35 motherboard information in the wild news post from TweakTown's online news computing and technology content pages

OCWorkbench has got hold of some early information about ECS' plans for the upcoming Intel P35 and G33 chipsets. The board names are P35T-A and G33T-M, the A and M in the model names are for full ATX and microATX form factors. The P35T-A features dual x16 PCIe slots, although the 2nd slot only offers x4 bandwidth as with the P965 chipset. It also officially supports 1,333MHz bus speed and DDR3 as well as DDR2 memory. Other features include eSATA, onboard FireWire and 7.1-channel audio.

The microATX G33T-M appears to be DDR2 only and has onboard DVI output, as well as a D-Sub. It lacks eSATA, but features onboard FireWire and 7.1-channel audio. Although the information posted talks about Robson technology, neither board appears to actually feature a Robson module. Rather interestingly from the information posted on OCWorkbench, it seems like the 1,333MHz bus speed is at least for now reserved for the Core 2 Duo, while the Core 2 Quad is left at 1,066MHz. However, this could be specific to the ECS boards, so don't read too much into this.
