EA DICE will be pushing out a new update for Battlefield 1 on the Xbox One X later this summer, dubbed the Battlefield 1 Summer Update.

The new update will allow for 4K rendering on the Xbox One X, a major improvement for Battlefield 1 players on Microsoft's fastest gaming console. The developer hasn't said whether it will be native 4K at 30FPS, or upscaled 4K at up to 60FPS... but I'd rather take the latter as 30FPS gaming is... well, bleh.

Battlefield 1 launched on the PC with native 4K support and upscaled 4K support on the PS4 Pro, so it's about time that the Xbox One X and its beefier internals get some 4K lovin', right?!
