Sharp is now shipping its gloriously large and super-pixel-powered 70-inch 8K TV in both Japan and China, a month earlier than the company had hoped for.
The new Sharp LV-70X500E costs 11,199 euros which works out to around $13,800 with tax, but Sharp hasn't announced any plans of making its 70-inch 8K TV available state side.
8K content is sparse, trust me I own an 8K monitor, but the picture quality is worth it. There are a handful of 8K videos available on YouTube which look glorious at 7680 x 4320, but for $13,800 you'd want more content to use on it.
