Rocket League for the Switch will be getting improvements

Rocket League will be getting performance improvements on the Nintendo Switch.

It was announced today that Rocket League players on the Nintendo Switch will have the option of choosing from multiple graphics options, to go with this update tournaments are also going to be released.

Currently the Nintendo Switch runs Rocket League at 1024 x 576 hand held and 1280 x 720 docked, after the update is rolled out the game will be able to achieve 1280 x 720 in hand held, and 1664 x 936 when docked.

To go with this update the developers are also pushing out a new tournaments mode, the above video released on the official Rocket League YouTube channel gives a great look into what the new mode will be featuring.
