Toshiba unveils its mainstream RC100 NVMe SSD series at CES 2018.

CES 2018 - Toshiba has just unveiled its new RC100 series of NVMe M.2 SSDs, with the company aiming at the value-optimized mainstream gamers and DIY system builders.

The new Toshiba RC100 comes in 120GB, 240GB, and 480GB with each drive backed by a 3-year warranty. As for speeds, we're looking at up to 1.6GB/sec on requires, and up to 1.1GB/sec on writes while we have 160K IOPS read performance, and 120K IOPS write, all without on-board DRAM helping out.
