Zelda producer confirms they're working on next-gen Zelda
The next-gen Zelda game is already in development, setting my excitement meter to 15/10.
Zelda: Breath of the Wild was one of the best games I've ever played, where I purchased a Nintendo Switch solely for the game, played 60 hours or more of it, and then never used it again.
But the news of a next-gen Zelda game being in the works has me excited, something that was confirmed by series producer Eiji Aonuma. He confirmed that his team has started work on the next Zelda game, but that's all we know - that a new Zelda game is in production.
We should expect that the next-gen Zelda game would be released onto the Nintendo Switch, which has sold over 10 million units now (4.7 million sales of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, meaning nearly half of Switch owners bought Zelda).
