Rovio burst onto the mobile gaming scene with Angry Birds all those years ago, but now the bird-flinging mobile phenomenon into its own IPO.
Rovio Entertainment, the Finnish parent of Angry Birds, is ready to make the game public - in two weeks, according to sources. As for the price range of the Angry Birds IPO, we're looking at a gigantic $1 billion... enough to buy tons of bacon.
Angry Birds has been downloaded over 3.7 billion times, launching in 2009 and becoming a smash hit. It spawned The Angry Birds Movie, plush toys, other games, and so much more since.
