Microsoft trademarks 'Direct Reality' ahead of E3 2017
Microsoft should reveal its new 'Direct Reality' headset at E3 2017 next week.
E3 2017 - Microsoft is set to unveil something new at E3 2017, with the company filing a trademark for something they're calling "Direct Reality" and it has something to do with gaming.
We don't know anything about Direct Reality, but it could be a HoloLens-inspired HMD that plugs into the Xbox and/or PC with Windows 10. Microsoft's upcoming Project Scorpio console will include VR support, but we don't know if Direct Reality will add to that or not just yet.
Microsoft's E3 2017 press conference happens on Sunday, June 11 @ 2PM PT.
