As we are sliding into the hectic fun that is Computex 2017, MSI is teasing its mid-range X299 GAMING PRO motherboard.
This new motherboard features support for the X299 chipset, providing quad-channel DDR4 support, with MSI reinforcing the memory slots on each side of the CPU socket. MSI calls its socket 'Turbo Socket', but we don't know if that's MSI or Intel's choice.
There's an 8-pin connector that is joined by a 4-pin connector, which will have MSI pushing their upcoming X299 GAMING PRO motherboard for overclocking. We should expect MSI to unveil this board during Computex, which takes place between May 30 and June 3.
