Minecraft has been one of the most successful games of all time, with Microsoft acquiring developer Mojang for $2.5 billion back in November 2014 - and now, Minecraft is headed to Nintendo's new Switch console.

Nintendo has announced that Minecraft for the Nintendo Switch will launch on May 11, and it looks mostly identical to the Wii U version - but it will also have Super Mario Bros.-themed content, something that's exclusive to Nintendo platforms.
