Microsoft is expected to provide new details on their upcoming next-gen Xbox console, Project Scorpio, in just a few ohours time over at Eurogamer - and now we're hearing about possible improvements to one of the biggest game franchises of all time.

Windows Central Senior Editor, Jez Cordon, has teased that The Witcher will be running at 4K on Project Scorpio, without developer CD Projekt RED doing any updates to the game. This would be a huge win for Microsoft, especially if they can show closer-to-PC graphics on Project Scorpio, in The Witcher 3.
